Uploading your site via FTP or SFTP

How to upload files to the server with FileZilla.

You can upload files with the panel’s file manager, but for many files an FTP client is easier. We recommend the free FileZilla.

Connection details

Server address, login and password are in your welcome e-mail and in the FTP section of the panel.

In FileZilla

  1. Open “File → Site Manager → New site”.
  2. Choose the protocol (SFTP or FTP) and enter the server address, login and password.
  3. Click “Connect”.
  4. In the right pane open your site folder: web/example.uz/public_html.
  5. Drag files from the left pane to the right.

Tips

  • The site’s main file (index.php or index.html) must sit directly in public_html.
  • Many small files upload faster as one ZIP archive that you extract in the panel’s file manager.
