Name servers

At your domain registrar, set exactly these two servers:

ns1.mcdns.uz
ns2.mcdns.uz

The servers use different links: one via BGP, the other via an independent provider. If one link fails, your domain keeps answering.

ns1 and ns2 on different internet links — one outage won’t take your domain down.

Record editor

A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV and CAA — in the client area, no command line.

DNSSEC

Zones are signed: add the DS record at your registrar and answers can’t be forged.

How to move a domain to MCDNS

  1. Add the domain in the client area and check its records (when you create a site on MCHosting they are added automatically).
  2. Log in to the registrar where the domain is registered (for .uz — wherever you bought it).
  3. In the domain settings, find “DNS servers” or “Name servers”.
  4. Remove the old servers, enter ns1.mcdns.uz and ns2.mcdns.uz and save.
  5. Changes usually propagate within a few hours, sometimes up to 72 hours. Keep your old hosting running until then.

Does it work if my domain is with another registrar?

Yes. It doesn’t matter where the domain is registered: just change its name servers to ns1.mcdns.uz and ns2.mcdns.uz.

What if my email stays with another provider?

No problem. Point the MX and TXT records to your existing email provider — the site runs with us and email keeps working where it is.

How do I enable DNSSEC?

Turn on DNSSEC for the zone in the client area and add the DS record shown to your registrar. If the registrar doesn’t accept DS records, DNS works as usual without DNSSEC.

How fast do changes apply?

Records update in MCDNS instantly; caching resolvers worldwide pick them up according to TTL — usually from a few minutes to a few hours.
